You stand before the entrance to Lord Nasher's Palace. 2. A guard meets you as you step through the palace gate. 'Enjoy the sights of the palace, but please don't touch anything.' 3. A huge tapestry adorns this wall. It depicts the entire Sword Coast region. 4. A collection of tiny, jewelled daggers known as the 'Neverwinter Knives' resides in a sealed case in this wall. 5. One of the famous waterclocks of Neverwinter lies against this wall. 6. You see a number of royal guards patrolling this passageway. 7. The royal badge of the city of Neverwinter, a sideways 'M' with points to the right connecting 3 white snowflakes, is depicted on a shield attached to the wall. 8. A multi-colored lamp lights this corner, its shutters moving themselves. A passer-by notices your astonishment and grins. 'Aye, I can tell you've never seen on before. This one's enchanted so the color of the light changes. Make 'em 'ere in Neverwinter they do, and they're famous throughout Faerun.' With a proud smile, he points over his shoulder and says, 'Lord Nasher is in the room tho the north. Good day to you.' 9. Lord Nasher 10. Arwen's Office! The large oak door is securely locked. 11. The Neverwinter river flows majesticly past Lord Nasher's palace towards the sea, its warmth rising in waves from the deep blue water. 12. This city dock was built just recently for cargo and passenger ships going to the islands of Gundarlun, Mintarn, Orlumbor and the Ice Peak as well as to the mining city of Fireshear. A notice posted here says the recent troubles have delayed the plans of the Company of the Brazen Pennant. They are waiting for times to improve before beginning their new service. The dock now lies empty and unused. It looks like this might be a dangerous place to go alone at night. As you approach the dock, a figure materializes out of the shadows. 'What is the password?' he asks, his eyes narrowing as he looks you over. The trip to the Purple Rocks will cost you 1000 platinum pieces. You can pay me now and I'll row you out to the ship. The man takes the money, counts it carefully, and tucks it into a large purse at his belt. 'Follow me,' he says and climbs down a rickety ladder half-hidden on the side of the pier. Soon you are on board a large, sleek sailing ship off the coast of Neverwinter. It's billowing black sails emblazoned wiht the large emblem of a purple squid. The trip to the Purple Rocks takes four rough days, as the captain tacks back and forth into a strong headwind. Finally, two islands come into view. Rocky pinpoints in the churning sea. The ship approaches the south coast of the eastern island, which the crew calls Utheraal. One man says that only the worthy are allowed to visit Trisk, the western island. You are rowed to shore aboard a small boat, crewed by two sour faced men with squid tattoos. 13. The Neverwinter River curves to the west here. In the distance you can see the cliffs between which its warm waters flow inte the endless, ice- cold Sea of Swords. 14. Brorsman's Arms and Armor 15. The guard stops you and says, 'Be careful. This gate leads to Southwall and there are monsters there.' 16. Advance levels here. 17. The Red Mage Inn 18. 'Neverwinter Indoor Gardens - Admission Free' 19.
